Jababeka Golf City Master Plan, Cikarang – West Java
Master Plan
Golf City @ Kota Jababeka Cikarang is a high-end residential zone that surrounds Jababeka’s Nick Faldo-designed international golf course with a planning area of approximately 189Ha.
The objective of the Concept Master Plan is to propose the strategy in reinvigorating the existing Golf City development that has been idle for decades. Odd plot sizes, lacklustered commercial development, and scattered location are some of the reasons for the slow development in the Golf City.
This new master plan envisions Jababeka CIkarang Golf City as ‘A Golf City Integrated Living’ offering healthy and secure living for international community, supported by varieties of lifestyle retail and outdoor activities. One of the plan’s main strategy is to provide flexibilities for the landowners for higher density and other typologies than the current detached house typology allowed within their land parcels. Commercial areas with better connectivities, themed zones, larger varieties and tenant mix are also proposed to spur new developments within the residential areas.
The northeast part of the Golf City is earmarked for the expansion of the sports club facilities that encompasses golf academy, various sports venues, ballroom and wedding chapel with enchanting view towards the golf course. Next to it will be the future Parkland Golf District that offers high-end residential, lifestyle retail with direct connection to the sports club and international school.
