Pearl of Java is a new 288ha waterfront development in the north of Semarang. Built on reclaimed land and located strategically near to new Ahmad Yani International Airport Terminal, this new development is envisaged to be the first integrated green living, lifestyle and business park in Central Java.

The Phase 1 is located on the east side of the development with total site area of approximately 28ha. It consists of 6 land parcels comprising commercial, mixed-use, residential and public amenities. It has river on its east boundary and sea on the north, potentially creating a long stretch of waterfront activities.

The proposed Phase 1 master plan emphasizes on creating waterfront public space that connects with pedestrian links, multi-use destinations for visitors’ unique experience and balancing human and the nature.

Phase 1 development is projected to yield approximately 320,000m2 floor area of mixed-use, commercial and residential components. The east central park would also be a public park leveraging on the retention pond, providing a natural and healthy environment both for the public and the residents, a unique experience for the city of Semarang.
